PLACES MATTER!

A Celebration of How Places Work projects by schools in Manchester

How Places Work is a CABE initiative in partnership with Places Matter! Education

The emphasis is on creative art and design, where
children and young people learn to see the big
picture and develop their abilities to communicate
with others, work as an individual, contribute to a
group, discard ideas without a sense of failure and
maximise the advantages of cultural diversity.

Places Matter! Education is part of the wider Places
Matter! programme to drive up the quality of place
making in the region. The programme is facilitated by
RENEW Northwest in partnership with RIBA North West,
the Northwest Regional Development Agency and
supported by CABE.
