An artwork by Manchester artist Andrea Booker has been unveiled in the public realm for the first time. The lit sign, called Apollo Theatres, is currently installed at the top of easaHQ (formerly Moonfish Building), Manchester.

CUBE is excited to be showcasing a cross section of a typical dwelle 'micro home' in addition to one of the main internal features, a solid oak folding staircase, using locally sourced reclaimed urban timber amongst other innovative ideas.

Flailing Trees is moved to the Whitworth for perminent public display
FLAILING TREES IS MOVED TO THE WHITWORTH FOR PERMINENT PUBLIC DISPLAY

As winner of Manchester International Festivals open competition, CUBE and Taylor Young worked in partnership with MIF and Internationally acclaimed artist Gustav Metzger on 'Flailing Trees' one of the most controversial projects of the programme.

The artwork has now been moed from the peace gardens outside Manchester Town Hall to Whitworth Art Gallery where it will form part of its permanent collection.
