The modernist is a new quarterly magazine, championing the architecture of the 20th Century and the modernist movement. Published for the NW of England by the manchester modernist society and launching Issue 1 as part of Architecture Festival NW.
Issue 1, from the mighty Fiddlers Ferry to the lost tripe restaurants of Lancashire our BOLD edition features some of the not so familiar 20th century aspects of the modernist built environment.

maxamundo – the modernist channel
The evening will also see the launch the modernist’s channel of the maxamundo multimedia mapping project, an online multimedia archive of 20th century buildings across Greater Manchester, developed by the manchester modernist society in collaboration with the University of Salford.
The modernist society is a not for profit organisation dedicated to championing the architecture of the 20th Century.
